SFIRP | Career Q&A Sessions Digital Learning Kits
Help your students step into agriculture with these classroom resources designed for year 7-10 students. Developed for PIEFA’s SFIRP Program, these Career Q&A Digital Learning Kits have been designed to showcase the diverse career pathways and opportunities within agriculture. Each kit contains 3 videos and an associated resource. Eight Digital Learning Kits will be released, each relating to a theme shown in the Career Pathway Poster.

Career Q&A Digital Learning Kits | Choose from 8 themes

Traditional Farming (grains, cattle, cotton)
This theme encompasses career roles involved in broadacre farming, particularly focusing on cotton production systems. Broadacre farming typically involves large-scale production in regional areas.

This is relatively new production method where food is produced in urban areas in controlled environments, typically in a stacked formation with the use of artificial lightening. New and exciting careers are associated with vertical framing are discussed.
