Educators Guide

George the Farmer and his wife Ruby are looking for kids to be involved in a ripper project. George’s stories are ripper to read and his songs about his farm are fun to listen to. You can learn all about different farming activities on his farm.

In this ripper project George and Ruby are looking for kids to discover what it takes to produce wheat and wool. Aligned with the Australian School Curriculum focusing on K-4 year levels the guide covers Science, Literature, Technology and Sustainability. Many of the hands-on activities such as making lumpy glue artworks from wheat are equally achievable and entertaining for pre-primary kiddies too.

Although this resource is tailored for teachers, there are many fun activities that can be done at home including making wheat heads, pizza and playdough!

This is a FREE curriculum-aligned guide.
